Nick Hare

Chair of Council

“I’ve lived in the parish for over 15 years and joined the council because I wanted to be part of a team that gets things done and improves the community. I’m particularly passionate about helping to maintain the great community spirit we have in this Parish. In my spare time I enjoy playing music and volunteering for The National Trust at Petworth”

David Green

Councillor

“I have lived in Partridge Green for over 30 years and have been on the Parish Council for most of that time. I am a retired property solicitor, which may explain my particular interest in planning. I have five children – all of which attended Jolesfield Primary. My interests are walking, the South Downs and most sports.”

I have been a resident for over 20 years. I am passionate about the environment and wildlife and I watched An Inconvenient Truth when it was released.

I have an eclectic selection of hobbies but I am a master of none! My hobbies include travel, heritage books and local government.

I have lived in Partridge since 1990 with my family. I am passionate about keeeping our rural landscape intact and as far as possible controlling further development, whilst allowing small growth to help maintain our infrastructure such as the school and shops. My family and I are very much involved with our beloved beef farm and preserving the beautiful landscape in the countryside.

I have lived in Partridge all my life. I am very passionate about ensuring the village works for everyone, with better services and an area we can be proud of. My interests include walking, cycling, films, music, books and many other things if I only had the time!

Rachel Richards

Councillor

Having lived in this parish for over 27 years, I am very keen to improve the facilities for the whole community, while preserving our green spaces for everyone to enjoy. As Tree Warden, I look after our veteran trees and have undertaken planting projects to improve the biodiversity of each of our sites. You will often see me wandering about with a watering can or weeding and planting. I am never happier than when out walking listening to the birds singing, and greeting all of the lovely dogs!

I have lived in the village since 2019 and I love everything to do with motorbikes and motorbiking. I enjoy visiting other places especiallly the sea, mountains and forests; anywhere without cities! I do mountain biking, swimming and paddleboarding to stay fit. I want to help protect the village’s natural environment so everyone can enjoy a good quality of life.

Jimmy Fisher

Councillor

I have lived in the village for many years. I love all the outdoors activities such as the football and the cricket. I am passionate about looking after the KGV and can often be found mowing the grass on a Friday morning.

Helen Bullingham

Councillor

I have lived in the parish, both Dial Post and Partridge green, for over 48 years. I’m really keen to get younger people involved with community events and in the past I helped get the play area and skate park installed. I can be found participating in productions of the PG Players, or helping at the repair cafe and the PG Youth Club. Or if not doing any of those things, I can usually be found walking my 2 border collies around the local woods and countryside.
